Founder story
It was never a question of whether I'd end up in design, just when.
When I didn't get into design school the first time, I took a BA in Media Production & Management instead. Figured I should learn how to sell all the design I was going to make one day. Ten years later I'd managed creative projects at some of Copenhagen's biggest agencies, won two handfuls of awards, and learned more about clients, strategy and deadlines than I ever expected.
Then I finally got in.
Now I do both. I think like a producer and create as a designer, which means you get someone who understands your strategy, your reasons, you - and can run with it.
Maikie holds a BA in Media Production & Management and a BA in Visual Communication from DMJX. She has 15 years of experience as a designer, producer, project manager and creative lead from agencies including Mindshare, Mindjumpers, TV2, Belong, True CPH and more, and has managed creative teams along the way.
Her greatest achievements, beyond the 12 advertising awards include being part of mobilising 1.4 million EU signatures for End the Cage Age, a campaign that led to a legislative change protecting farm animals across the EU in 2021, in collaboration with Dyrenes Beskyttelse.
